Wooden paddles are used to nudge the huge wheels around the corner, to maintain course on the straights and to bring the temple car to a stop. No power-steering or antilock braking here.

Read in some book that the Japanese also have an equivalent. I saw the one in Spain myself during the Holy Week. I know it is not surprising that it is universal - still.......

No, Tilotamma. I have not tried any serious bit of food pics except for some table tops of fruit arrangements.
