JC - Yes. Liked it that way. Second reason - That pic was taken a few years back with a lens (a 28-105 lens on a Yashica FX3)that had a bit of some dust or whatever. In every pic with a clear background there would a thread-like black line jutting into the frame. So I removed it by cropping the frame. Could have done it digitally but like I said I liked the tight framing.

Which camera do you use now?

Now I use a Nikon 801 or an FM2 - both are solid workhorse models from N.
PS: it was not 28-105 on the Yashica but a 28-70 I think can't recall exactly.
