A close up showing the details of the cross, said to have been carved by St Thomas, the apostle, at the altar. This cross can be seen on the stamp (see below) issued to commemorate his 19th death centenary. On top can be seen a depiction of St Thomas. Posted by Picasa

Very beautiful. Many of us have studies in educational institutions run by missionaries or have some level of familiarity with such images.

This one is truly beautiful. I should go to this Church.

Yes, Tilotamma, it is a beautiful place. It has some beautiful paintings and the view from the top of the hillock is great.
