Have you thought about doing a coffee table book just on Mamallapuram?

No. Maybe sometime in the future. It took me several months to decide if I should get on the Net. :)
But thanks for the suggestion, it is a great encouragement - another friend also suggested the same thing recently. Will keep you posted.

I will not expect a complimentary copy when it is out. I will buy it :-).

BTW even as I am talking to you I have Raghubir Singh's Tamil Nadu coffee table book in front of me. It has only a narrow view of Arjuna's Penance ( through an ambassador side window) and the Durga's foto from Mahabalipuram.

One of my favourite books. I picked it up from a pavement shop in Triplicane for a great bargain.

Balaji has put his mind and soul into his pics, which I am afraid Raghubir has not done in the case of tamil Nadu.
I am sorry guys, Raghubir singh's book on Tamil Nadu is one of his shoddiest works.
