Owl Encounters
One day we had a surprise visitor to our house. This guy, a Scops Owl, say bird watchers, landed up on our door step and spent the day perched on that gate. He kept an eye on me as I took the pictures and then seemed to doze off.
This one is a Great Horned Owl, photographed at Nanmangalam, the scrub jungle in the southern part of Chennai.
