Yes. It is a great event. I missed the other programmes, the temple car, and the climax, the aruvathimoovar thiruvizha. Plan to post pics of those events from earlier collections.
But when I asked the manager there said it is open from the morning, even if the best time to visit is after 6.00 pm. I Could not go there this time, too.
Wish I could have been there.

ReplyDeleteI believe the Chitirai Chatram is open only after 8 PM - it is kind of hard for people outside Mylapore to hang around there that late....

Yeah this is my mother's report - she went there and saw the closed gates. Wrong day?
