A water seller at the Ranthambore Fort within the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. The fort is built on top of a hill and it is a stiff climb to the top. But it is worth it -- there are a few ancient temples, and the architecture and the view is great.  Posted by Picasa

Balaji I have never been - want to go-but itsn't it annoying that there are temples in the middle of the reserve.
The pious will go in droves and it is always difficult to regulate that traffic whereas for wild life we can insist on a set number each day only in authorized vehices etc.

Anyway - this is a wonderful picture as always

Yes, Tilotamma, that clash of interest happens.
At least in this case the temple is in the fringe of the reserve and attracts crowds only on special occasions.
But the people should certainly be made aware of conservation and understand not to muck up the place.
